Hello Kitty food truck pounces on San Antonio with sweets and swag
If toasters, televisions, and toiler paper holders don’t quite sate your hunger for all things Hello Kitty, you’ll probably want to be at the Shops of La Cantera on March 10. That’s when the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck rolls back into San Antonio with new treats and exclusive collectibles.
Since launching at Hello Kitty Con in 2014, the truck has traveled to more than 60 cities across the U.S., including two stops in San Antonio last year. As was the case last year, the distinctive pink minivan will be parked at 15900 La Cantera Pkwy., near Barnes & Noble, according to a press release.
Some of Hello Kitty's favorite treats will be returning, including a petit fours box, a macaron set, limited edition T-shirts, and a bow headband modeled after her meowjesty’s signature accessory.
New this year are a giant cookie featuring the famous feline wearing a smart double-breasted coat, pocket pies filled with berry or Nutella filling, and a keychain depicting a bashful HK in a pile of her own merchandise.
The truck will be onsite from 10 am-8 pm on the day of the visit, but fans are advised to get there as early as they can. The truck only takes what can fit inside the van’s interior along for the ride, and catfights are strictly not the Sanrio way.
