Favorite Pearl boutique flocks to 2nd San Antonio location
The Tiny Finch now has two San Antonio locations.
A go-to Pearl boutique has darted to a new roost. The Tiny Finch has opened a second San Antonio location at 201 E. Olmos Dr. on October 19, bringing along an eclectic mix of home goods, apothecary items, gifts, and more women’s fashion.
The new shop is about twice the size of the Pearl location, which owner Karen Lee Zachry purchased from original owner Courtney Beauchamp in 2023. The expanded square footage houses customer favorites from the original and adds a broader fashion edit. Backroom space will allow a curated selection of shoes, and large mirrors will let customers size up a selection of new cocktail dresses and sweaters.
Zachry previously told CultureMap that the new outpost is a continuation of an idea she had “a million years ago” when she first caught the retail bug while working as an attorney. Her original idea was called My Favorite Things, a store that offered everything from home fragrances to beautiful stationery.
When she saw a “for lease” sign in the Spanish Revival building off the Olmos Park roundabout, she quickly signed the paperwork.
“I can’t say I was looking, but I can’t say I wasn’t looking,” Zachry admitted.
The sibling shops now allow the entrepreneur to personalize the selection at each location. Eventually, the website will let patrons pick up goods at either location, and the current staff — who Zachry credits for the store’s success — will rotate between the two stores.
According to an Instagram post, the shop is currently in its soft opening phase with a grand opening planned from 10 am-4 pm. Tiny Finch has not yet posted the regular operating hours, but the Pearl shop operated 10 am-6 pm most days, closing at 5 pm on Sundays.
