COMEBACKS
Shuttered Bexar Goods relaunches as new Spurs private label

Bexar Goods is now a private lable under Spurs Sports & Entertainment.
After folding in late March, a much-missed San Antonio apparel and leather goods company is being reborn. Spurs Sports and Entertainment (SS&E) has purchased the Bexar Goods brand, reinventing it into a private label that combines the original’s craftsmanship with team pride.
Bexar Goods had a close relationship with the NBA franchise during its 14-year run, designing five highly coveted collections of premium fan gear. The initial drop of sweatshirts and t-shirts features Bexar Good’s iconic cactus logo alongside the classic spur.
The deal marks the first time that an NBA team has converted an existing brand into an in-house label. Bexar Goods founders Falcon Rubio-Schoenfelt, Guy Rubio, and Christian Craft were brought on as consultants to make sure the new line carries the DNA of the original.
“Bringing Bexar Goods into the Spurs family feels like being welcomed home,” says Rubio-Schoenfelt, in a release. “The Spurs have been a big part of our lives and San Antonio’s culture. Our community made this possible, and we’re grateful to have you with us on this next journey.”
Although the first offerings are simple, Bexar Goods has more in store soon. Leather goods will be released close to the 2025-26 season tipoff. There’s no word yet if the brand’s prized caps will make a resurgence.
The Bexar Goods line is now available at both physical Spurs fan shops and online. The team says select retailers will also be allowed to stock the line.
“We’re…proud to play a role in keeping such a beloved and iconic brand rooted in Bexar County, where it belongs, while sharing our culture with the rest of the world in a way that’s that’s truly ‘puro San Antonio,’” says Andre Moyce, SS&E Associate Director of Retail Strategy, in a statement.
