Luxury consignment shop rolls into Alamo Heights with brands like Chanel, Gucci, and more
Nearly a decade after opening its first store in Austin, designer consignment shop MOSS is rolling into San Antonio’s chic Alamo Heights neighborhood. Opening this June, the new location will bring the world of high-end thrifting to the Alamo City, including a curated inventory ranging from everyday staples to formal designer threads, footwear, and more.
“We are so excited to become part of the budding San Antonio fashion scene,” Masha Poloskova, owner and founder of MOSS, said in a press release. “It felt like a perfect fit to move to a city that understands and appreciations fashion.”
MOSS San Antonio is a 1,700-square-foot space designed by Poloskova’s husband Jarod Harmeier of Hyrax Studio, and borrows notes of familiar aesthetic from the South Austin flagship while still preserving the character of the original mid-century modern building. The store will be stocked with high-fashion items and Poloskova encourages chic ladies of Alamo City to consider contributing their gently loved pieces to the inventory.
Using a scrutinizing review process, Poloskova personally selects all of the shop's pieces before they make their way to the sales floor. Among the labels shoppers can expect to find are Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Celine, Oscar de la Renta, and more.
Customers can also expect vetted contemporary labels, such as Tory Burch, Vince, and Diane von Furstenberg, on the racks to complete versatile, ready-to-wear looks.
Though the owner says MOSS San Antonio will open at 5013 Broadway St. in June, an official opening date and store hours are still to come.
