Valero Texas Open
Practice your swing and hit the back nine in the spirit of philanthropy during the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio. This precursor competition to the Masters will feature a slew of world-class golfers including Jordan Spieth, Corey Connors, Kevin Chappell, Charley Hoffman, Martin Laird, Andrew Landry, Adam Scott, J.J. Spaun, Jimmy Walker, and others.
Hasan Minhaj: Off With His Head
Comedian Hasan Minhaj brings his brand of satire and wit to the stage at Majestic Theatre. Minhaj is best known for his popular comedy specials on Netflix, including Homecoming King and The King’s Jester. Select tickets are still available.
CultureMap Tastemaker Awards
Our annual celebration of the top bar and restaurant talent in San Antonio returns with equal parts flavor and fanfare. Tickets to this signature tasting event and awards ceremony at Briscoe Museum include sample bites and specialty cocktails all night long. Guests will also have a chance to meet and mingle with the biggest names and rising stars in the local food and drink industry. Sarah Forgany of KENS 5 will host the evening’s programming. CarFest
Auto enthusiasts are invited to cruise into Freeman Coliseum for the annual return of CarFest. Highlights of the three-day festival include a cruise-in showcase, car displays, live dance and music performances, a food truck competition, a BBQ cook-off, a live DJ, and more. Other activities include an artisan market and an auto swap meet. Admission is free and open to the public.
Broadway in San Antonio presents The Book of Mormon
The manic misadventures of a pair of missionaries unfold on stage at Majestic Theatre. The nine-time Tony Award-winning musical The Book of Mormon is a production packed with hilarious comedy moments, all centered around the well-meaning characters’ charge to spread the tenets of their faith. This show contains explicit language and is most suitable for adult viewers. Performances are scheduled through April 7.
Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club presents David Lucas
Comedian and actor David Lucas is the latest guest performer to take up a quick residence on The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club stage. He’s best known for his time on the hit MTV improv comedy show, Yo Momma and for his regular appearances on the Kill Tony Show. Shows are scheduled through April 7.

World Heritage Office presents 10th Annual Viva Poesía Festival
Music, culture, and poetry collide at this family-friendly Mission Marquee Plaza event. This year’s Viva Poesía festival celebrates local poets, visual artists, and chefs through spotlighting their creations and talents. Attendees can enjoy poetic performances, live cooking demos, tastings, live music, pop-up vendors, craft activities, a tree giveaway, and more. Festival admission is free and open to the public.
