Celebrate the life and legacy of San Antonio accordionist Flaco Jiménez at Carver Community Cultural Center. Guests will participate in a memorial service followed by a tribute performance by Los Texmaniacs. Admission is free and open to the public.
San Antonio Missions 2025 Season
The San Antonio Missions baseball season continues at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. This week’s opponents are the Springfield Cardinals. Home games will continue through September 7. Tickets are available now.

Mission Marquee Plaza presents Outdoor Family Film Series
Enjoy a screening of a family-friendly movie under the night sky at Mission Marquee Plaza. This weekend’s featured film is Transformers One. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic meals, blankets, and lawn chairs for an optimal viewing experience. Snacks and refreshments from on-site food trucks will be available for purchase.
The Tobin Center presents H-E-B Cinema on the Plaza
Enjoy a movie night under the stars at Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza at the Tobin Center. This month’s featured film is the 1995 film, The Goonies. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to ensure good outdoor seats. A full bar and concessions will be available to complete the movie night.
