Broadway in San Antonio presents Hamilton
The story of America’s creation is retold with a modern twist at Majestic Theatre. This hit musical tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and features music by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The setlist will include popular songs such as “My Shot” and “Alexander Hamilton.” This production is suitable for audiences 10 and over. Following opening weekend, performances are scheduled through August 9.
The Rock at La Cantera presents Cinema & Sips Series
The weekly adult-friendly movie and vibes series at The Rock at La Cantera continues. Audiences will enjoy a screening of short films followed by the hit 2003 romcom, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Craft cocktails will be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and picnic blankets for a comfortable viewing experience. Admission is free.

Tobin Center presents Kristin Key: Ca-Caw Tour
Musical comedian Kristin Key brings her viral songs and signature style to the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. She rose to Internet fame by sharing her queer-focused comedy and is best known for her popular original song, "Lesbian National Anthem." Key has also appeared on NBC’s Bring the Funny and Last Comic Standing. She will perform two shows back-to-back. Tickets are available.

Bihl Haus Arts presents Andy Villarreal: "Galactic Worlds and Beyond" opening reception
Bihl Haus Arts presents the work of local artist Andy Villarreal and his homage to ancient Mayan culture in its newest exhibition. Villarreal’s works are inspired by his own travels to the pyramids of the Yucatan area and explore the whimsical and divine nature of the Mayan people and their history. Following opening weekend, the exhibition will remain on display through August 29.
Music at Gunter presents Chris Cuevas
The historic Gunter Hotel has opened its doors and its stage to local musicians for a new live music series. Music at Gunter will feature regular live performances at venues throughout the hotel, including Bar 414, for locals and visitors alike to enjoy. Saturday evening’s featured musician is Chris Cuevas, who will be accompanied by a blues trio. Admission is free.
