Comedian and actor Marlon Wayans brings fresh stand-up material to the stage at Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club this weekend. Wayans is best known for his roles in movies like White Chicks and the Scary Movie franchise as well as for his breakout role on the sketch comedy show In Living Color. His 2018 comedy special, Woke-ish is currently streaming on Netflix. Shows are scheduled through June 7.

Pearl Park presents Spurs Watch Party
Cheer on the San Antonio Spurs as they play the New York Knicks in the NBA Championship Finals. This free watch party will feature the game presented on a giant outdoor screen, food and beverages for purchase provided by the Park Bar, and the chance to mingle with fellow fans. Leashed pets are welcome. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and bring their own blankets and lawn chairs for the best viewing experience.
Alamo Kiwanis Club presents Fiesta Noche del Rio
The Alamo Kiwanis Club hosts the Fiesta Noche del Rio series for another summer season at Arneson River Theatre. Highlights include Mariachis, Flamenco guitar, dancing, costumes, food, and more. The series will continue through August 1. Get tickets and a full series schedule at the event website.

The Tobin Center presents Black Box Live: Lisa Morales with James McMurtry and Bruce Robison
Talented Texas voices fill the Tobin Center for a special concert. This intimate evening of songwriting and storytelling will feature acoustic performances from Lisa Morales, James McMurtry, and Bruce Robison, who will showcase their skills in genres such as country, Americana, and blues. Freeman Coliseum presents Yellowcard in concert
Pop punk band Yellowcard performs live at Freeman Coliseum as part of The Up Up Down Down Tour. The group is best known for their hit song “Ocean Avenue” and rose in fame during the 2000s alternative rock era. They’ll be performing in support of their 2025 album, Better Days. Liverpool Legends: The Complete Beatles Experience
A hand-picked band selected by the sister of George Harrison performs hit songs by The Beatles in tribute to the iconic group at this special concert. The Charline McCombs Empire Theatre show will feature classic tunes spanning their catalog from their mop top discography to the Magical Mystery Tour to the timeless psychedelic era. The show will also feature narration by the George’s sister, Louise Harrison. Tickets are on sale at ATG Tickets.

Pan African Cultural Community presents Maafa Serudj-Ta: A Story of African American History
The journey of African people from their homelands to America is told through music and theater at the Carver Community Cultural Center in honor of Juneteenth. The audience will be lead through a people’s history by way of drumming, dance, storytelling, and dramatic performance that touches on phases of history including the slave trade, resistance, and restoration.
