LET'S RODEO
San Antonio Rodeo ropes in Clint Black, more for 2027 shows
Clint Black performs in Virginia.
The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo isn’t killin' much time in rolling out its 2027 headliners. Country chart-topper Clint Black and Southern rock veterans The Marshall Tucker Band are among the second wave of performers coming to the Frost Bank Center, February 11-28, 2027.
Born in New Jersey but raised in Katy, Black needs little introduction to country fans. More than thirty of his singles have made it to the US Billboard country charts, 13 rising to number one. More recently, he has been seen on Fox singing competition The Masked Singer with his wife — Knot’s Landing actress Lisa Hartman Black — as the series’ first duet contestants.
Southern Rock founding fathers The Marshall Tucker Band is no stranger to the charts either. “Heard It in a Love Song” soundtracked the ‘70s, and Jerry Eubanks’ flute playing on “Can’t You See” might edge out Jethro Tull as the most iconic woodwind line in rock.

A trio of country acts will also entertain guests after the bronco bustin’ action: Singer-songwriter Riley Green, ‘90s fave Clay Walker, and musician and former Louisiana lieutenant governor candidate Sammy Kershaw.
Founded in 1949, the San Antonio Rodeo is one of the largest and most prestigious in Texas, drawing more than 1.5 million visitors annually. With the support of over 7,000 volunteers, the organization has contributed more than $292 million to Texas youth through scholarships, grants, endowments, auctions, a calf scramble program, and show premiums. This year, the event will return to the Frost Bank Center and Freeman Coliseum fairgrounds.
