LET'S RODEO
San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo adds Brad Paisley, more to 2026 shows

The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo has announced its latest wave of 2026 headliners, including aughts chart topper Brad Paisley, bro-country innovator Dierks Bentley, and Sinoloan legends Banda Los Recoditos. The concerts add to eight previously announced shows that will rock the stage at the Frost Bank Center from February 12 to March 1.
Paisley is arguably the biggest name on the list. Starting his career in the late ‘90s, he quickly climbed the ranks to become one of the top-selling country artists of the 2000s. Two of his albums, Mud on the Tires and Time Well Wasted, are certified double platinum, and he scored a string of 19 No. 1 singles on the Billboard country charts.
Not far behind is Bentley, with his own run of 18 No. 1s. Although songs like “Drunk on a Plane” sometimes pigeonhole him with bro-country, the singer got his start in Nashville’s bluegrass clubs. The style still shows up in his storytelling and instrumentation, setting him apart from current radio goliaths like Morgan Wallen.

Bentley might want to fly into San Antonio a few days early to give Paisley a tip of the hat. Paisley gave Bentley a national platform as the opener to both his 2009 tours.
The Rodeo’s first Spanish language performance of 2026 comes from Banda Los Recoditos. The group formed in 1989 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and has since released more than 30 albums, including 2025’s Se Pronostican Borracheras.
Rounding out the newly announced shows is a pair of newer country acts. Russell Dickerson is best known for “Yours,” a ballad written for his wife Kailey, which has become a wedding standard. Concan alt-country quartet The Droptines are lesser known, but are causing a stir with their unique fusion of rock, blues, and folk.
