MAYBE WE'RE AMAZED
Paul McCartney adds surprise San Antonio stop to 2025 U.S. tour

Surprise! Paul McCartney is coming to Alamo City.
One of rock music's last living legends is making his way to San Antonio. In a surprise July 24 announcement, Paul McCartney added an Alamodome stop on October 25 to the North American leg of his Got Back Tour.
Fans can snag the code for the presale tickets, going on sale July 29 at 10 am, by preregistering on the tour website. According to a release from promoter AEG, general admission passes for the sure-to-sell-out show launch a few days later, on August 1 at 10 am. The San Antonio concert will be McCartney's sole Texas tour stop.
It isn't easy to think of a performer with more star power than McCartney. He had a hit song in every decade between the 1960s and 2010s, an unprecedented string of Billboard chart-topping albums, and was knighted in 1997. From "Love Me Do" to "Jet" and "Live and Let Die," his songs have soundtracked generations.
The release announcement promises that the McCartney will be a career retrospective, including songs from the Beatles, Wings, and his solo career. The singer launched the tour in 2022, which included a record-breaking performance at Britain's Glastonbury Festival.
Still spry at 83 years old, McCartney now has 20 dates in his North American itinerary. The shows mark the iconic performer's first major set of concerts in the U.S. and Canada since 2022. The tour kicks off in the Greater Palm Springs area on September 29.
