The JoBros Cometh
Jonas Brothers bring their most ambitious tour yet to San Antonio
The Jonas Brothers are launching their most ambitious tour yet, dubbed simply "The Tour," which will include a stop at the AT&T Center on October 5.
On the massive 35-date stadium and arena run, starting on August 12 in The Bronx, New York, and finishing in Miami on October 14, the band will perform five albums every night. In addition to San Antonio, the JoBros will go to Arlington on August 30, Austin on September 3, and Houston on October 7.
The tour announcement comes on the heels of a trio of recent intimate shows the band performed, including one at Tannahill's Tavern & Music Hall in Fort Worth on April 26.
The band is touring in support of their latest album, The Album, set for release on Friday, May 12. Although the press release about the tour does not specify which five of their six albums the Jonas Brothers will be performing at each concert, odds are that they will be the last five, as their 2006 debut album is by far their lowest-selling release to date.
As tickets for The Tour will likely be in high demand, the band will once again be using Ticketmaster's Verified Fan presale to give fans their best shot at tickets. Fans can register for the presale now through Saturday, May 6 at 10:59 pm. Fans who are selected to receive an access code will be able to participate in the Verified Fan presale starting Tuesday, May 9.
Citi cardmembers and Verizon customers will have additional presales beginning on Wednesday, May 10, with other presales running throughout the week. A limited number of tickets will be available during the general onsale which begins on Friday, May 12 at 10 am.
The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences, with packages including premium reserved tickets, invitation to the pre-show VIP Lounge, specially designed Jonas Brothers VIP gift items, and more.
