San Antonio Six Flags unveils multimillion-dollar food hall refresh

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is overhauling its dining options.
San Antonio’s Six Flags Fiesta Texas revealed a multimillion-dollar change on Friday, May 9, but it’s not a new Batman ride. Instead, the theme park has put its money behind a head-to-toe renovation of its giant Sangerfest Halle dining venue.
The refresh is part of the theme park’s ongoing initiative to refresh its dining options. Six Flags has hired hospitality vet Rudy Martinez to reimagine the park’s culinary offerings with a focus on fresh, quality ingredients.
Sangerfest Halle has served park guests since 1992 and is one of the most popular spots for visitors to take a break from the thrill rides. The overhaul of the food hall includes:
- A fully remodeled kitchen
- A brand-new menu
- A redesigned ordering area
- New furniture coming soon

Additional enhancements are scattered throughout the grounds. Pete’s Eats in Rockville, which reopened earlier in the season, has an updated interior and a new menu. Fiesta Texas has also expanded and upgraded Coke Refresh Stations in the Los Festivales, Crackaxle Canyon Screampunk District, DC Universe, Rockville, and Hurricane Harbor sections. All of which is quite a mouthful.
“Our significant investment and improvements in Sangerfest Halle reflect our continued commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests,” said Six Flags’ regional general manager Jeffrey Siebert via a press release. “This renovation sets a new standard for dining in the park and is only the beginning of what’s to come.”
Guests wanting to try the new Sangerfest Halle can take advantage of the 2025 All-Season Dining Pass, which allows for one or two meals every visit. Coaster chasers can also upgrade their pass to access dining at all Six Flags parks nationwide.
