Rock band Bush brings anniversary tour to San Antonio with a few limited $20 tickets
British rock band Bush will celebrate its 30th anniversary with Bush - Loaded: The Greatest Hits Tour in summer 2024, including a stop at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio on Wednesday, September 4.
The two-month tour will kick off on July 26 in Bend, Oregon, traveling to 32 cities, including three in Texas:
- September 4: San Antonio
- September 5: Houston
- September 6: Dallas
They'll be joined by special guests Jerry Cantrell (of Alice in Chains fame) and Candlebox on all dates. Additional guests will be announced.
Bush released their debut album, Sixteen Stone, in 1994. The success of songs like "Comedown," "Glycerine," and "Machinehead" made them famous, which led to their second album, Razorblade Suitcase in 1996, becoming the only No. 1 album of their career.
They have maintained a steady presence in the rock world over the past 30 years, with the majority of their songs reaching at least the top 20 in the U.S., including the No. 2 "More Than Machines" in 2022. Their latest release, Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994–2023 in 2023, features the top 20 song "Nowhere to Go But Everywhere."
In order to make attendance possible for fans of every budget, a limited amount of tickets in participating markets will be as low as $19.94 (before taxes and fees), a nod to the year of their debut.
An artist ticket presale will begin on January 16 at 11 am Central time. General on-sale tickets will be available on Friday, January 19, at 10 am. Link to tour tickets is at bushofficial.com/tour, and the San Antonio show is here.
Bush will perform a special version of “Glycerine” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 16, and appear on NBC’s Today on January 17.
