The work of Texan artist Marilyn Lanfear is in its final days at the San Antonio Museum of Art. “Material Memory” is a collection of mixed media sculptures from found objects that are then repurposed to create an all new narrative. Exhibition runs now through November 11.
Babes Support Babes Fall Pop-Up
It's all about women and creativity at Brick at Blue Star Arts Complex. The bi-annual pop-up helps local small business owners showcase their talents and network while letting San Antonio shoppers discover unique finds. Attendees can shop 30 vendors offering goodies such as handmade jewelry, home decor, teas, and more. Admission is free.
Broadway in San Antonio presents School of Rock
This fun musical, inspired by the Jack Black film of the same name, School of Rock comes to life on the Majestic Theatre stage. Rediscover the story of a wannabe rock star who transforms a group of straight-A students into full-fledged rockers. The production features all 14 of the original songs from the blockbuster hit and will be performed live by the theater's first-ever kids' rock band. Performances through November 11.
