San Antonio Symphony presents The Return Of Hädelich
Acclaimed classical violinist Augustin Hädelich returns to Alamo City for two performances showcasing his incomparable string skills. The Grammy Award-winning musician will play Dvorák’s Violin Concerto live at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Hädelich will also play Smetana’s popular Overture and Three Dances from The Bartered Bride to complete his performance. Select tickets are still available.
The Tobin Center presents H-E-B Cinema on the Plaza
October’s installment of this ongoing film series features the family-friendly Hotel Transylvania just in time for Halloween. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chair and blankets to make themselves comfortable on the Tobin Center plaza while they enjoy a movie under the stars. Full concessions and a bar are also available. Admission is free.
Lecrae and Andy Mineo in concert
Christian hip-hop artists Lecrae and Andy Mineo take The Aztec Theatre stage in support of their albums Let the Trap Say Amen and Magic & Bird, respectively. The co-headlining tour will feature new songs as well at fan favorites such as Lecrae’s “I’ll Find You” and Mineo’s “You Can’t Stop Me.” Balcony tickets still available.

Celebrate three historic decades of Texas Public Radio with a block party at the Alameda Theater. Family-friendly festivities include food trucks, a live set by DJ Steven Lee Moya, a performance by the South San Antonio High School mariachi band, and more. Admission is free.

Aida Cuevas in concert
Ranchera singer Aida Cuevas performs live at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts for one night only. Famous for being the first female singer to win a Grammy in her genre, Cuevas is returning to the stage in support of her latest release, Totalmente Juan Gabriel Vol. II. This special tribute tour celebrating the life and legacy of Cuevas’ dear friend Juan Gabriel is one you shouldn’t miss. Tickets still available.
