Boerne Book & Arts Fest
Literature and art combine for a full day of fun and family-friendly festivities at Main Plaza Park. This year’s Boerne Book & Arts Fest includes live performances, author discussion panels, children's activities, and more. Panels focus on a range of subjects, including the magic of children’s books, Texan culture, and Western film. Arrive to the fest early to take advantage of a morning pre-festival “coffeehouse party” commemorating the official launch of the library’s first poetry/prose anthology.
The Tower of the Americas presents Octoberfest
For the first time, the Tower of the Americas is celebrating Octoberfest complete with traditional eats, brews, and live polka music among the San Antonio skyline. Visitors can sample beers from 24 authentic European breweries while snacking on juicy bratwurst and fresh pretzels.
