It’s baa-aack!
Indie film fest calls on San Antonio creatives to submit frightening flicks

Creative San Antonians who embrace all things monstrous, dreadful, and frightful — and are looking to scare people silly this Halloween season — now have their chance, thanks to one local independent film festival.
Terror High Film Fest, a nonprofit festival hosted by the Association of Creative Multimedia Partners that celebrates short films in the horror genre, is calling on all San Antonio area filmmakers to submit their short films for the second annual horror film fest.
There is no fee for filmmakers to enter their gruesome masterpieces, but — not to make your blood run cold — the deadline for submissions, October 10, is quickly approaching.
This year’s virtual festival, scheduled for October 23, is a free community event, with all films streaming live online.
“Cate-gories” in which filmmakers can submit their showpieces include:
- Extended-length short films, 26-59 minutes
- Short films, 10-25 minutes
- Super short films, less than 10 minutes
Filmmakers can submit their works on the Terror High website under the Submit a Film tab or at www.filmfreeway.com/TerrorHighFilmFestival.
More details about the freaky film fest will be released soon. Follow Terror High Film Fest on Instagram for updates.
