2016 San Antonio Film Festival
The San Antonio Film Festival returns for a full week of cinema. See more than 100 feature-length movies and short films at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Festival attendees can get an exclusive look at the premiere of Hell or High Water featuring Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine, and Ben Foster. Other festival events include screenings of local beer documentary Brewed in the 210 and A Classy Broad, a doc about San Antonio native and Hollywood exec Marcia Nasatir.
Texas Comicon
Don your best costume and head to Texas Comicon at the San Antonio Event Center this Friday through Sunday. Attendees will enjoy celebrity appearances and photo ops, panel discussions, and special events during the sci-fi celebration.
Tobin Center and Mix 96.1 present MixFest 2016
This Saturday, the Tobin Center transforms into an epic music arena featuring artists like Bebe Rexha, Jacob Whiteside, Steven Curd, The Jump Smokers, and more. Pop-soul talent Lukas Graham headlines with a 75-minute set you won't want to miss.
Blink-182 in concert with A Day to Remember and All-American Rejects
Immerse yourself in ‘90s nostalgia as punk band Blink-182 graces the AT&T Center stage Saturday. Revisit the band’s older songs and hear new tracks from their latest album, California, which dropped July 1. Joining Blink-182 are A Day to Remember and All-American Rejects.
SeaWorld San Antonio presents Summer Soak Party
Planning a kid-friendly weekend? SeaWorld is hosting its Summer Soak Party complete with new splash zones, live tunes, and tons of sweet giveaways. The Grooves and The Spazmatics play the first weekend of the Summer Soak Party, which continues every Saturday and Sunday through August 14. Free to attend with purchase of park admission.
