Que Retro Arts presents Frida Fest
The life and legacy of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo is celebrated at Wonderland of the Americas Mall. The two-day fiesta features a one-of-a-kind art gallery all Frida fans will appreciation. In addition to the art, guests can enjoy live performances, music, cultural dishes, and shop goods by more than 70 Texan artisan vendors. Frida Fest is free and open to the public.
AT&T Center presents The Original Harlem Globetrotters
The world famous Harlem Globetrotters come to the AT&T Center in support of their 2018 “Amazing Feats of Basketball World Tour.” Incredible acrobatics and athleticism combine to bring audiences a high-flying experience. In addition to classic dribbling and shooting tricks, the Globetrotters will debut the first-ever “Flying Globies,” a special team performing dynamic dunks you won’t want to miss. Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation presents Lone Star Bash
Toast to a charitable cause at Sunset Station. This “party for a purpose” features chef-prepared tastings from some of the state’s rising culinary stars. Craft beers and cocktails will be on hand to wash down delicious flavors from the chefs behind San Antonio’s La Gloria, Dallas’ Trinity Groves, and McAllen’s Roosevelts.
