Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a full-blown foodie fiesta at Maverick Spirits Distillery. There will be speciality bites and signature cocktails using Maverick Spirits' own Agave Blanco tequila. Admission to the celebration is free and open to the public.
Opera San Antonio presents Rigoletto
The dramatic and passion-filled story of Rigoletto comes to life by way of the talented Opera San Antonio performers. Audiences can follow the journey of devoted and protective father, Rigoletto, in his mission to protect his daughter’s virtue in direct opposition to the suave and manipulative Duke of Mantua. The Avett Brothers come back to the San Antonio area for back-to-back nights of live music. Over the course of their more-than-two-decades career, the American folk rock group has release 10 albums, including 2019’s Closer Than Together. The band will be joined by special guests Shovels & Rope on Friday and Bob Schneider on Saturday.

The Rustic presents Talk Derby to Me
Head to the races without leaving the Alamo City when you attend The Rustic’s annual Talk Derby to Me watch party. Guests can enjoy drink and food specials and try their luck at winning the best-dressed contest, complete with bragging rights and prizes. Live music will kick off after the competition to keep the race day vibes going. Admission to this party is free with RSVP.
Eva's Heroes presents Baskets & Blankets Urban Picnic
Spend a day enjoying the al fresco ambiance of Hemisfair. Visitors will nosh on Central Market charcuterie boxes while enjoying a bevy of picnic-inspired activities. Other highlights include an interactive art project, live music by the Mo-Dels, a drum circle with Tamborhythms, and more. All ages are welcome to attend.
