Jennifer Aniston-backed fitness studio stretches into San Antonio

Jennifer Aniston's favorite workout studio is coming to San Antonio.
A new fitness franchise favored by Hollywood stars like Jennifer Aniston is stretching into San Antonio. Pvolve, a fitness method that pairs functional movements with resistance training, will open its first Alamo City studio at 7959 Broadway St. #600 in the winter of 2025-2026.
Founded in 2017, Pvolve centers women's fitness with a series of low-impact movements that mimic the rhythms of everyday life. The technique uses resistance bands and a proprietary pilates ball (called a "P.ball") to help clients reach their fitness goals.
Aniston was so impressed with the results that she reached out to founder Rachel Katzman and now advises the company on marketing, product, and programming strategy.
"I just want more people to know about it because I think it's so good," she told People in 2023. "Especially as we get into our lovely older periods, we have to keep it exciting. And we have to be kinder to our bodies."
The Alamo Heights studio will be operated by Rachel Neal, a hospitality industry vet. The entrepreneur became a Pvolve true believer after giving birth, becoming a fitness instructor and trainer.
"Pvolve stood out to me because I noticed that it enhanced my daily life," said Neal in a release. "I saw the potential that it has to transform how people live, work, and play based on my own experience, and knew that I wanted to bring the brand to my community."
The brand has been rapidly growing over the past two years. The brand currently has seven studios in Texas with more on the way. The San Antonio outpost is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 or very early 2026.
The only problem with the new studio? It's steps away from the local staple Soluna. Maybe save the chispa margaritas until after a workout session.
