Celebrity-fave Pilates studio stretches into San Antonio’s Stone Oak
FS8 Pilates is the newest fitness franchise opening in San Antonio.
A boutique fitness center combining yoga flow with Pilates is stretching into Stone Oak. FS8 Pilates will open its first San Antonio studio at 24272 Wilderness Oak #103 in the first half of 2026.
Though Alamo City is blessed with many fitness studios, FS8 (Functional Strength 8) is a little different. Its routines are rooted in reformer Pilates, a favorite among top models like Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner, which differs from traditional mat methods by using resistance.
The FS8 philosophy builds on the popular approach by emphasizing three core pillars:
- F for Functional, enhancing everyday movement
- S for Style, combining pilates, tone exercises, and yoga
- 8, representing the eight aspects of their low-impact training
Signature sessions include Original, ReformX, and Ignite, all designed to enhance core strength, balance, coordination, and functional movement in a supportive and inclusive environment.
“We blend science-backed moves with the best of Pilates, tone, and yoga to help you lengthen, strengthen, stabilize, and mobilize your body,” the studio explains on its website. “Think full-body results that go beyond the reformer — boosting not just your physical strength, but your mental wellbeing too.”
FS8’s 2,800-square-foot studio is part of F45 Training, the global fitness franchise known for its 45-minute group workouts and high-profile celebrity following. Investor Mark Wahlberg has drawn stars like Mario Lopez and Jimmy Butler to classes, and ambassadors have included David Beckham, Greg Norman, and Magic Johnson.
Although FS8 has announced the Stone Oak studio, it has yet to reveal an opening timeline. Recently filed Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project details say the renovation will be completed by late March 2026, but the estimation is not set in stone. CultureMap has reached out to the location for more details, and fitness fans can register their interest for a membership online.
