Opt for Optimism
San Antonio Spurs fans go into optimism overtime with Frost Bank
What's one surefire way to make Sunday Funday even better? When Frost Bank and CultureMap turn up with swag, surprises, and some ways to stop and reflect about what's going right in our lives.
We popped up in the Bud Light courtyard at the AT&T Center before the Spurs took on the Los Angeles Lakers, bringing with us the Spurs Hype Team and the Call Me Optimistic interactive chalkboards.
As fans filled out the boards (everyone is very thankful for basketball, by the way), Chris Boss entertained with a live concert. There were also armadillo races, a bounce house, and an inflatable Connect 4 game for guests to get some energy out before tip-off.
Approximately 400 Spurs supporters stopped by to say hi before heading into the game, sharing with us how excited they were to watch their team — especially No. 68. One man paused to say how thankful he was to be walking on two feet and attending the game with his family after major surgery.
CultureMap and Frost Bank will be hosting more of these pop-up events throughout the year, surprising and delighting folks all over Texas.
