UTSA School of Music presents David Russel in concert

UTSA School of Music will present Grammy-winning classical guitar virtuoso, David Russell to the UTSA Recital Hall this Spring for a concert featuring his 2024 USA program. The pieces on his program are from well-known Spanish composers like J. Broca’s "Pensamiento Espanol," Bendetto Marcello’s "Sonata," and F. Moreno Torroba’s "Castillos de España." Russell will also present a classical guitar arrangement of J.S. Bach’s "Flute Sonata in E minor," "BWV 1034." Alongside the performance, a slideshow presentation will give audiences beautiful depictions of these places to accompany the music they will hear.
