To honor the retirement of the longtime chair of the SSA's Papermaking and Book Arts department, the exhibition is a survey of handmade paper and pulp painting works that places Whitehead alongside her professional peers, John Babcock (Soquel CA), Shannon Brock (Brooklyn NY), Joan Hall (Jamestown RI), Lois James (Port Hadlock WA), Anne McKeown (Secaucus NJ), Michelle Samour (Acton MA), Peter Sowiski (Buffalo NY), and Lynn Sures (Silver Spring, MD).
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through January 15, 2017.
