The biggest Fright Fest ever returns for 16 nights of terror at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
There are two new free haunted houses for 2016, Torture Chamber and Buried Alive; one returning haunted house, RockKill High School, with a new ending; and a new Scare Zone, Wicked Hollow.
Torture Chamber:
A dark and decaying medieval reminder of how far twisted henchmen will go to extract your most terrifying fears and phobias. This chamber is filled with hundreds of tortured, evil souls who know nothing but anguish only to torment and haunt those who dare to walk through. Around each horrifying, scream-filled corridor in the dungeon of the castle, you’ll encounter pure evil as deranged sub-humans, as they inflict the same tortured pain, mutilating their terrified prey ... and with one misstep, they might decide to keep you. Walk fast and try not to provoke the spirits.- Buried Alive: Uncover the eerie tunnels and passageways long forgotten beneath Crackaxle Canyon. As you descend into the bowels of the abandoned mine via a rusty, corroded elevator shaft, your mistake becomes all-too apparent. A complete colony of the un-dead beckons you through the labyrinth of catacombs to discover skeleton ghosts of miners that ventured before you. Take a ride on the carousel of the impaled, or step cautiously through the hall of maggots before witnessing the evening finale, a bizarre satanic ritual at the skeleton altar.
- RockKill High School: Back from the dead and even more haunting than before. The walking dead is lurking the halls of Rockville High just waiting to feed on your fear. The halls of Rockville High still ring with the voices of those left behind. If you listen carefully you might just hear the Alma mater being chanted in the distance. At that point, your fate has been sealed. You’ll make your way down to the Rockville High basement, where those who never made it to graduation have been waiting just for you. Don’t scream or they’ll find you. Don’t look back, or you just might regret it.
- Wicked Hollow: Are you ready to face your nightmares? This cursed wasteland allows the unsuspecting to enter a Pandora’s Box of secret rituals and strange clairvoyant traditions known only to those in the mysterious gypsy world. A hex placed on this once rich with life forest, has left nothing but death and blood-curdling screams in its trail. Maniacal wolves and witches fill the paths to destruction where deranged puppets hypnotize you to your ill-fated demise by giant fire-breathing dragons. Listen for the whistles in the wind, and be warned they are coming.
There are also thrills by day, where the little ghouls in your group can enjoy trick-or-treating with their favorite Looney Tunes characters.
- Twick or Tweat Twail, located in Kidzopolis, is a friendly trick or treat journey like no other which includes the Looney Tunes. The Twick or Tweat Twail takes the little ghouls and ghosts in your group on a ghoulishly fun adventure as they stop and visit the houses of their favorite Looney Tunes characters including Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird, Foghorn Leghorn, and the Tazmanian Devil and collect candy on each stop.
- For a ghoulish fun time and some treats to satisfy your little ghouls and ghost’s sweet tooth, guests may visit Spooky Cookie Decorating located in Crackaxle Canyon. Visitors may design and decorate a special cookie filled with favorite toppings such as sprinkles, frosting, and chocolate chips (nominal fee).
