San Antonio Museum of Art presents Rome: Sexuality and Empire by Caroline Vout, PhD

In partnership with Trinity University, the 2017 Lennox Lecture Series will focus on love, art, and power in the Roman Empire. Dr. Caroline Vout, University Reader in Classics and Fellow of Christ’s College at the University of Cambridge, has written extensively on Antinous and on sexuality in ancient Rome. Her books include Power and Eroticism in Imperial Rome (2007) and Sex on Show: Seeing the Erotic in Greece and Rome (2013).
