San Antonio Food and Wine Alliance presents Taco Rumble

An all-star crew of Texas’ best taqueros and chefs will clash at Taco Rumble. Taco talent from across Texas will be turning up the heat in celebration of one of Texas’ most beloved dishes. 

Participants will include Chef Thomas Bille of Belly of the Beast (Houston); Chef Victoria Elizondo of Cochinita & Co. (Houston); Chef Rick Lopez of La Condesa (Austin); Chef Julio Paz of Fairmont Austin; Chefs Jacob Gonzales & Matt Garcia of The Fajita Lounge; Chef James Moore of Full Belly Café + Bar; Chef Nicola Blaque of The Jerk Shack; Chef Jesse “Kirk” Kuykendall of Milpa; Chef Tony Ibarra of La Mina (Dallas); Chef James Ballentine of Ninja Pig (Austin, 2021 Texas Food & Wine Alliance grant recipient); Chef Carlos Gonzalez of Panfila Cantina; Chef Ceasar Zepeda of Sangria on the Burg; Chef Paul Morales of Tacos Cucuy; and Taquero Daniel Cobos of Vaquero Taquero (Austin).

In addition to showcasing the best in taco craftsmanship, Taco Rumble will feature sweet treats, a selection of wines, craft beer, and premium spirits tastings. 

Proceeds benefit the South Texas culinary community through the San Antonio Food & Wine Alliance’s vibrant grant program.
