The San Antonio Botanical Garden invites the community to celebrate Fiesta at the Garden with a variety of family-friendly events, plant sale, and fireworks. Explore 38 acres including the Family Adventure Garden, Culinary Garden, and Chef Teaching Kitchen.

Activities: 

  • April 21: Viva Botanica - Fiesta festivities begin with Viva Botanica, an official Fiesta® event that celebrates the beautiful world of plants and nature. Bring your Fiesta decorated wagons and join the Children’s Parade with the Alamo Heights Drumline. Children’s hands-on activities bring nature to life with community partners including Alamo Bird Club, Advanced Learning Academy, Bexar Audubon, and San Antonio Parks Natural Areas. A festive and alcohol-free event for the entire family, Viva Botanica is open to all with admission to the 
  • April 21-22: Viva Botanica Plant Sale - Shop the Viva Botanica Plant Sale featuring native and adapted plants suited to San Antonio landscapes. Let Garden experts guide you to the perfect water-saving performers and just the right plants to enjoy year-round in your own yard.
  • April 22: Flowers and Fireworks (Member Exclusive Event) - Members of the Garden enjoy the best-kept secret as they take in Fiesta fireworks from the San Antonio County Club from the lush grounds of the Garden. Members are welcome to bring a picnic, blankets, and lawn chairs.
