Empty Bowls kicks off Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week in the community by highlighting the issues of food insecurity and housing instability. When visitors purchase a bowl or mug, they will receive a bowl of soup and a piece of bread. This small meal serves to make people mindful of others facing homelessness in the community who often go hungry every day.
