This new musical is inspired by the story The Nightingale by Hans Christian Anderson. Luther Virtue's club, the Cauldron, is the hottest jazz and blues venue in the city. Luther's wife is retiring as the lead act, and Luther's unsure if he wants to continue the business. However, when a new talent arrives on the scene, life is restored to both Luther and the club ... that is until Luther realizes he must battle his young manager for the affection of the new nightingale.
