The NAO Texas Premier Concert features 30 musicians and vocalists from across the United States conducted by Michael Ibrahim, NAO Music Director and nay (flute) player.  The event will raise public awareness of classic and contemporary genres of Arab music, showcase seldom heard instruments in Western music, and spotlight contributions of women to this ancient heritage. One featured vocalist, Hela Melki, joins the group from Tunisia. Pre-concert features local artists and exhibits of art and fashion from the Middle East.
