South Korean artist Suki Seokyeong Kang transformed sculpture, painting, textiles and poetry into immersive environments shaped by rhythm and the natural world.

"Suki Seokyeong Kang: Mountain-Hour-Face" presents nearly 40 works created between 2014 and 2024, marking the first solo exhibition by a South Korean artist in the McNay’s history.

Organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and adapted for the McNay by Lauren Thompson, Curator of Exhibitions, the exhibition invites visitors into a space where works hang from the ceiling, occupy the floor and walls, and shift in response to movement through the galleries.
