McNay Art Museum presents "Seen and Unseen: Sacred and Spiritual Dimensions in Contemporary Art"

David Brinker, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Religious Art, will present a talk on the role of sacred and spiritual imagery in contemporary art. Using Michael Tracy’s work as a focal point, Brinker will explore how artists today incorporate religious and ritualistic themes to convey meaning, challenge perceptions, and inspire reflection. A Q&A session will follow the discussion.

This program is presented in conjunction with the special exhibition, "Michael Tracy: The Elegy of Distance."
