The Magik Theatre presents Reader’s Theatre: Stories of a Dreamer

The Magik Theatre continues its Reader’s Theatre series in partnership with DreamWeek 2019. The mission of DreamWeek is to advance the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and other great humanitarians like him by proliferating and modernizing their aspirations of a more equitable and enlightened society for all.

Readers include Danielle King, professional actress and a co-Founder of The Renaissance Guild, San Antonio’s Premier Black Theatre; Bryan D. Greene, a writer, filmmaker, and Owner/Creative Director of Bleaf Enterprises; and Rebekah Williams, The Magik Theatre’s Education Coordinator and founder of Magik’s Reader’s Theatre.

Books include Sit In by Andrea Davis Pinkney, The Other Side by Jacqueline Woodson, and Let the Children March by Monica Clark Robinson.
