Luminaria will present its next Pop Up Art Gallery show, "A Celebration of Culture," in honor of Juneteenth. The exhibition showcases the works of local Black artists.
"A Celebration of Culture" is co-curated by Andrea V Rivas, Luminaria Fine Art Curator; and Kaldric Dow, Guest Curator. Dow is best known for his sculpture Spheres of Reflection, an homage to African American culture and Martin Luther King Jr. Dow has participated as a Featured Artist in the Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival as recently as 2024.
Featured artists include Kaldric Dow, Kwanzaa Edwards, Ohso Fabone, Barbara Felix, Deborah A. Harris, Josiah Harris, Theresa Newsome, Katlyn Powell, and Angela Weddle.
