Recently returned from the Contemporary’s Berlin Residency at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Jasone Willome’s exhibition at the Contempoary will expand on the artwork he made in Berlin. Through an array of media, Willome’s new body of work seeks to explore humanity’s intrinsic desire to investigate the self and our connection to the universe.
In this exhibition, personal stories, human consciousness, astronomy, and the history of trepanation are sources of inspiration, resulting in artworks that encourage viewers to take a closer look.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through October 5.
