Confluence Park will host an evening of nature and art at Cochineala Nature and Art Series: Bioluminescence. Guests can immerse themselves in the mesmerizing world of bioluminescent organisms and experience the magic they bring to the planet.
Activities will include Glow-in-the-Dark Painting, Fantastic Fungi Education & Mushroom Trail, Creatures of the Night Meet & Greet with Once in a Wild Zoo, Moth Cloth & Nocturnal BioBlitz with Texas Nature Trackers and River Warriors, and Live Screen Printing with Crooked Arm Printing (BYO t-shirts, totes, and bandanas for a limited edition Cochineala-Bioluminescence print by artist Hilary Rochow).
At 9 pm will be the world premiere of "Lights in Play" by the URBAN-15 Performance Ensemble that incorporates dance, music, video projections, and mirrors into an ambient percussion and electronic soundscape with light-emitting creatures projected into the dome of Confluence Park’s brilliant architecture and onto the dance floor.
