For one year only, the City of Schertz's 4th of July Jubilee expands into a special two-day celebration packed with patriotic fun, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities.
Festivities kick off on July 3 at at Pickrell Park with carnival rides, community activities, and a live performance by Josh Abbott Band.
On July 4, the celebration continues with the “Let Freedom Run” 5K, the downtown parade, and carnival fun beginning at 11 am at Thulemeyer Park. Later in the day there will live music starting at 6 pm, followed by an expanded fireworks show at 9:15 pm and a special historic plane flyover courtesy of the Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing.
Food, beverages, and limited edition 50th Anniversary Jubilee t-shirts and commemorative merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the event.
