The UTSA Alumni Association and the San Antonio Parks Foundation will co-host the second annual Chaparral Music Festival. Performing artists will include headliner Mike Ryan, an award-winning San Antonio native. Also performing on the main stage will be George Navarro, Jonathan Terrell, and Kathryn Legendre. San Antonio’s classic-country-hipsters, The Texases, will act as the house band for the day, providing four live sets of classic country hits on a second stage. The event is family-friendly, offering activities for adults and kids alike, with lawn games, a mechanical bull ride, photo fun, lots of yummy local food, fresh sips, local art and cowboy merch, and cold beer.
