Briscoe Western Art Museum presents "Truly Texas Mexican: History and Flavor Profile of Texas Native Cooking"

Cultural food specialist, author, and chef Adán Medrano will present on his research into “Texas-Mexican cuisine.” The evening will include a cooking demonstration and from his Truly Texas Mexican cookbook, which highlights some of the traditional foods sold in San Antonio’s plaza markets in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A book signing will immediately follow the tasting, with Chef Medrano’s cookbook available for purchase.
