Audubon Texas will present the Texas Women in Conservation Luncheon, honoring the 2022 Terry Hershey Award recipients, Betty Bueché and Jeanette Honermann, for their contributions in conservation, presentation, and promoting opportunities for future generations.

For the 2022 Terry Hershey Awards the The Legacy Award will be presented to Betty Bueché and the Impact Award will be presented to Jeanette Honermann, both of San Antonio. These women have spent decades protecting and preserving public lands and open space to benefit the natural world supporting critical wildlife habitat, and working to gain equitable public access to these spaces for health and recreation benefits for their communities.
