AAPIs for Justice in San Antonio is co-hosting a film screening of Stories Within. During one of the most heightened levels of anti-Asian sentiment in the United States, local Asian American community leaders and creatives in Austin filmed Stories Within, a mini-documentary series featuring 14 Asian Americans that speak to their younger selves about the acts of racism and discrimination they will face and messages of empowerment to bring with them to the present.
The screening will follow with a panel moderated by Yvonne Lim Wilson with co-creators and subjects of the stories.
