Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio is a nonprofit housing organization working in partnership with San Antonio families in need of affordable homes.
To get involved, donate money to the organization (they are self-funding, with 100 percent of donations going directly into the home-building program), volunteer on a home build, volunteer within the facility or store, and sponsor a half or full home-build.
The group holds monthly events like Habitour, Coffee Breaks, and F.I.A.T. events. They also hold House Dedications every few months to honor the new homeowners and dedicate their new home to them.
