It is the mission of Child Advocates of San Antonio (CASA) to see that all abused and neglected youth have someone in their corner with their best interest in mind. CASA recruits, trains, and supervises court-appointed advocates who provide at-risk children with an adult they can trust. These advocates speak for the child in court and provide them with attentive care and support throughout the case.
CASA Advocates serve as an emotional support and a familiar face to children who face many traumatic changes in their lives. By visiting the children monthly and gathering information from all the people involved in the case, CASA Advocates act as a fact-finder and report to the judge about the needs of the child during the life of the case. For more information about becoming a CASA Advocate, head here.
CASA's annual Gallery of Hope Gala at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts brings together the champions of the cause in a vibrant setting. On display at the gala, the Gallery of Hope exhibit is a visual narrative of the hope and healing CASA provides abused and neglected children.
