San Antonio Zoo presents Zoo Boo

Guests are invited to cruise through the zoo grounds for a fun, non-scary Halloween event featuring furry friends, trick-or-treat stations, pumpkin parties, a hay maze, and more. Daily costume contests and dance parties are certain to keep kids of all ages entertained. Costumes for adults are also encouraged.
Texas Latino Policy Symposium
Latino policy makers, public servants, entrepreneurs, and more will convene virtually to discuss a variety of issues affecting the Hispanic community statewide. All Texans are encouraged to participate in the two-day event, which includes panel discussions, lectures, and conversations designed to inspire change. Hopscotch: Light & Sound
Interactive gallery Hopscotch lights up the Alamo City for the first time this weekend. The new 20,000-square-foot permanent gallery features 14 immersive and illuminating installations from more than 40 artists on the local, national, and international circuit. Tobin Center for the Performing Arts presents Musical Movie Marathon
It's opening weekend of this new cinematic event featuring beloved musicals. This weekend, guests will enjoy screenings of Chicago and Disney’s Moana. Other featured films for the series include Rent, The Lion King, and Sing. Musical Movie Marathon showtimes are scheduled through October 25.

Bihl Haus Arts presents Batting for Bats: Virtual Gallery Talk with Batman of Mexico
Rodrigo Medellín, also known as the Batman of Mexico, joins Bihl Haus Arts for a virtual gallery conversation about the impact of climate change on the world’s bat population. The conversation is in conjunction with Bihl Haus’ current exhibition, “Hot Pursuit: A Visual Commentary on Climate Change,” by Sabra Booth. Register online in advance to receive streaming access.
