Pearl district's newest restaurant brings all new flavors to San Antonio
San Antonio gets a fresh fusion of international flavors with the debut of Botika, opening in the Pearl district July 5.
This concept from chef Geronimo Lopez features a blend of Peruvian and Asian cuisine, specifically "Chifa" (Chinese-Peruvian) and "Nikkei" (Japanese-Peruvian).
"We are so thrilled to be welcoming the San Antonio community to our restaurant and introducing them to this new flavor profile I think the city will really love," said Lopez in a statement.
Lopez — who helped open Nao Latin Gastro Bar — has crafted a menu featuring sushi, ceviche, wok dishes, and other savory bites. Guests will enjoy refreshing cocktail combinations like the Batucada (Brazilian liquor cachaça with lime, sugar, and angostura) and the Güenazo Cooler (sake with canton, yuzu, lime, and mint).
Botika's opening hours are Monday through Saturday, 5-11 pm. Lunch and late-night service will be announced later.
