Blue Star Contemporary presents "The Sitter" opening day
Contemporary portraiture is on full display in Blue Star Contemporary’s newest exhibition, “The Sitter.” Visitors can explore portraits that use a diverse range of mediums from featured artists such as La Vaughn Belle, Suzette Bross, LaToya Hobbs, Loc Huynh, Cruz Ortiz, and more. Gallery admission is free, and the exhibit will be on display through September 5.
Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club presents Bryan Callen
Actor and comedian Bryan Callen comes to San Antonio for a one-weekend stint at Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club. The entertainer and podcast host is best known for his recurring role as Coach Mellor on ABC’s Schooled and The Goldbergs. Distanced table seating is available on the ticketing website.
Opera San Antonio presents Lucia di Lammermoor
The curtain is closing on classic opera Lucia de Lammermoor at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. The abridged 90-minute production will be performed in Italian with English subtitles. Tower of the Americas presents Wine Fest
Wine Fest returns to Tower of the Americas for its third year of vino, live music, and indulgent festivities. This year’s lineup features wineries from Sonoma County, appearances by dozens of winery ambassadors, raffle prizes, and a performance by Jose Posada.
