Old Settler’s Music Festival
Venture just outside the city limits to Dale, Texas, for the family-friendly Old Settler’s Music Festival. The four-day event will feature dozens of musical performances, workshops, kid’s activities, a youth talent competition, and more. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of gourmet eats, speciality wines, and craft beer. This year’s musical guests include Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Shinyribs, Hayes Carll, and Brandi Carlile. ARTS San Antonio presents Yo-Yo Ma in concert: The Bach Project
World renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma performs live at the Laurie Auditorium at Trinity University. Hear this beloved musician showcase his skill by performing Johann Sebastian Bach's "Six Suites for Cello." The gripping performance will also be simulcast live at Mission Marquee Plaza. The Overtime Theater presents Curanderas & Chocolate: Cuentos of a Latina Life
The semi-autobiographical tale brings memories of love, loss, and hardship come to life on The Overtime Theater stage. Curanderas & Chocolate weaves cultural and religious imagery together for a performance that transcends ethnic backgrounds. This play includes some adult language and is suitable for audiences over 14 years of age. Performances through April 14.
Willie Nelson & Family in concert with Tyler Childers
Texas music legend Willie Nelson brings his Family to the Whitewater Amphitheater stage for three consecutive nights in support of their new album, My Way. The group behind hits such as “What Can You Do To Me Now?” and “Fire and Rain” will be joined by opening act Tyler Childers. Tickets for all performances are still available. SoFlo Market presents 6 Year Anniversary and Fiesta Medal Event
Shop pieces of art and other unique gifts during the Fiesta Medal at SoFlo Market. Guests can peruse handmade treasures, vintage gifts, homemade products, and more. Fiesta Medal will also include interactive, art-focused activities for children, as well as a hamburger plate sale and Fiesta medal fundraiser sale to benefit Children's Rehabilitation Institute.
